Santiago Quintanilla
(Lima, 1983) Lives and works in Lima.
He graduated specialising in Engraving from the Arts Faculty of Pontíficia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). During the III Engraving Biennale in Lima in 2010 he participated in the Intergráficas exhibitions (Museo de Bellas Artes, San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina) and in Planos Divididos (Galería de Arte 80m2).
His first solo exhibition Lo mejor está por venir, historia gráfica de Lima y sus desastres was held In 2008 at the Galería 80m2. Several works from this exhibition were exhibited in the Lima Pavilion at the Amsterdam Biennale 2009. He currently teaches in the Art Faculty of the PUCP.
