Ixone Sádaba

Ixone Sádaba (Bilbao 1977)

Vive y trabaja en Londres. Se licenció en Bellas Artes en la Universidad del País Vasco en 2001 y cursó posteriormente el MA en la Universidad Antonio Lebrija en Madrid (2001) y el Postgraduate Program del Internacional Center of Photography de New York (2005). Actualmente prepara su tesis doctoral para la Goldsmiths University de London.

Galardonada con el Premio Generaciones 2011 por el proyecto “La Nuit Americaine” y finalista del Premio Sovereing Art Foundation 2012 entre otros.

Ixone ha expuesto en museos internacionales como el Guggenheim Bilbao, el Museo Reina Sofía, el MOCCA Contemporary Art Museum de Toronto o el Museum of Contemporary Art de Nueva Orleans. Su obra está presente en las colecciones del Guggenheim Bilbao, el MNCARS, ARTIUM, el MUSAC, Iberdrola, el BBK, la Comunidad de Madrid, etc., además de en numerosas colecciones privadas.
